Kalaw to Pindaya Trek

2 Nights 3 Days

Day 1

Transfer from hotel to starting point by car for about 45 minutes drive. We start walking uphill for 45 minutes to get to Taung Ni Palaung hill tribes. Along the way we can see Tea and Oranges Plantations on the hill side. Continuing for the next 1.5 hours to Ta Lae Oo Min downhill side of Shan Ta Te tribes for lunch stop. There we can see limestone cave with many Buddha images inside.

After lunch continue to Naung Yoe PaO tribe’s village in 45 minutes and to the Pwe La Shwe Kone which are inhabited by Danu tribes and it takes about 1 hour walk. Next 30 minutes to Kyaut Set village and 20 minutes’ walk through the monastery for overnight stop.

Along the way you can see Ginger, Potatoes, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Wheat and Tea plantations.

Day 2

After breakfast continue to Myin Mu Danu tribe’s village pass through the forest for about 1.5 hours where we will spend some time helping education program of kindergarden children age between 2 to 4 years. Also there we are going to take a lunch stop.

After lunch break, continue walking about another 2 hours to San Thi Gone. After that continue to War Pya village for the overnight stop at a farmer’s house on the hill.

Day 3

Early morning, we can learn about the morning activities of a farmer’s life in the village. Then continue to Inn Khaung Danu village, walking about 1 hour. From there another 45 minutes’ walk up to the hill with panoramic view until we to get Kyae Dun Gone. After going downhill for an hour we get to Pindaya in an hour. There we are going to have a lunch and end our trek.
